New Year; Arise, Sins.

Happy New Year! :D
Hope you guys will have a fun time duelling, enjoying life and may your wishes come true in 2011!

Today, I've got a card that I really really like. It isn't mass released yet but it will come real soon. In Feb, in the Yugioh movie pack. Blue-Eyes White Dragon!

Nah, I'm kidding. Sin Truth Dragon. The Malefic monster's ace.

Malefic Truth Dragon /Dark/12/ 5000/5000/ Dragon/Effect:
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. If a face-up "Malefic" monster, except "Malefic Truth Dragon", is destroyed by battle or a card effect, you can pay half your Life Points to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.

This is the Malefic monster's boss. This card is basically incredible! It has a 5000 atk and 500 DEF which overwhelms the other boss monsters which are usually at 3000. It is on pr with F.G.D's attack. Given that it dies, just blow your opponent's field FTW.

It has the ability to rebirth itself from the grave when one of your Malefic monster is destroyed for some wicked plays. With the card, Dragon Canyon, it makes Sin Truth Dragon extremely accessible. Dragon Canyon is a searchable Field Spell via Terraforming, acting as a Sin Truth Dragon dumper. It is able to supplement the Malefic monster's needs for a field spell whilst also dropping Truth into the grave as a contingency plan this card is a staple in most Malefic decks. If you run it, run 3. With 3 Terraforming and 3 Malefic World provided it comes out because when Malefic World comes out, I'll scream like hell and make a sin deck <3 Quoted Ruling: Once in the grave play a field spell over the original Field. Rulings state that when you do that there is a gap, so your Malefic monster is destroyed (if your opponent does it there is no gap) then you can chain all the Truth's in your graveyard and swarm with them.
Malefic Truth's rulings state that even if a Malefic dies in the middle of a chain you can just activate him afterwards so he can't miss the timing. Provided it keeps its effect Malefic World lets you control more than one Malefic monster at a time.

Fantastic. I love sins. I'm gonna post a Sin deck when I'm done testing online.

It's a short review, sorry about that. Holidays are gonna be over >.> I HATE IT. School is gonna resume. *Yawns* I don't want to go to school @_@

Bounce it back! Phoenix Wing Wind Blast

Hi guys, iosmk here. Firstly, I wanna wish all of you a Merry Christmas. May God bless you till the end of time lol. Okay, now i wanna present you a strong trap card, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast.

Phoenix Wing Wind Blast
鳳翼の爆風 --> Normal Trap Card

Discard 1 card from your hand. Return 1 card your opponent controls to the top of its owner's deck

What's the concept of this card then? You need to discard 1 card while bouncing only 1 of your opponent's card. Isn't it a bad thing to do? I would say no. Why?

Card concept = To us --> -2 (-1 hand and -1 field)
To opp--> -2 (-1 field and -1 hand since the next draw will still be the same)

So, isn't it good? Try to think of it, when your opponent has only 1 card on the field, you can use this card, and bounce it, so opponent's field will be empty, and his/her next draw will still be the same one. Isn't it awesome? So the concept applies, you won't lose anything and opponent will be in danger. Sadly, this card applies to your opponent only. If this card applies to you too, i guess you can abuse this card with some cards, and the bad thing is you need to discard a card too, which makes this card balanced. If there isn't any cost for this card, I assume that this card is too godly and will be banned for sure. This card works in tcg and ocg side for your information, and it isn't that expensive compared to some other defensive cards like solemn warning (tcg side). But still, being able to use this card and gain advantage is not easy. There are some situation where you must know when to use this card, and when not to. So, you guys may try using this card and test it out, decide when to use this card and fast or slow you will know how to totally abuse this card and make your opponent desperate. Okay, I will stop here, bye~

~Every card has its own power and weaknesses. You can abuse it in many ways~

Swap mine with yours! Creature Swap

Hi guys, Iosmk here. Firstly, I would like to apologize as I'm late on posting this review due to my holiday lol. Okay, now, here's a card that won't go to our junk pile. It's awesome. Creature Swap.

Creature Swap 強制転移 --> Normal Spell card

Each player selects 1 monster they control and switches control of those monsters with each other. Those monsters cannot change their battle positions for the rest of this turn

So, what's the good thing about this card? Well, I can't say much about the good things and the bad things, the good thing is we are the one who choose our own monster to be swapped with opponent. The bad thing is our opponent is the one who choose his own monster(if we are the one who choose, this card will be broken right). Yeah. So, what can we do with this card? A lot of things to do.

1. Very simple. Opponent has a strong monster(either a synchro or a beatstick), set your own sangan or those cards that will activate in your graveyard, and attack with the synchro you just got. So, your hand +1 and a monster on your field while your opponent's field will be empty.

2. Swap with tokens. Isn't it better to have a monster rather than having an atk and def 0 token, am i right?

3. Works with 2 UFO or pyramid turtle. You all should know how it works right.

4. I guess there was an OTK combo that needs this card isn't it?

5. Credit to Dsummon = creature swap + scrap shark. Please go to his blog for more info. I don't wanna write too much.

6. Many other combos that you can think of to abuse this card's effect.

So, basically, this card isn't a 1 for 1 concept, but still, its good to take field advantage. So, why don't you try out this card and see how can it work in your deck? Yeah. Well, I don't have anything to write anymore about this card's review, so... bye~

~Don't ever give up! Whenever you lost a duel/match, don't regret it, but think and learn from what you did so that you won't make that mistake(s) for the second time~

GraveKeeper Recruiter for the +1 of your choice!

GraveKeeper's Recruiter

Gravekeeper's Recruiter --> Effect Monster Card

When this card you control is sent to the graveyard, add 1 "GraveKeeper's" monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand
OMG! This card!
Did you remember how X-Saber was like before it got X-Saber Dark Soul? When DarkSoul made it's debut to it's game, it was affirmative to be a staple in X-Sabers.
GraveKeepers have been a potential Tier-One deck and it simply need a push from something like this. Who doesn't like +1? Synchro it, Dump it or watever u can think of to send this card for a +1!

GK Spy > GK Descendant > Summon GK Recruiter > Tribute to destroy > +1 :D

Not only that, it works well with Royal Tribute. Discard all cards in your hand? Not worry as GraveKeeper will help u get a +1 of your choice. Combo is best used during the start of the game. Congrats! U reset everything with a card of your choice!!!
Anyone who knows the 1st turn Nohr thing would know how devastating this combo can be.

1200 is low attack but 1200 suits it. Cards like these are designed to be of low attack so that u can abuse the card's low stats to get it into graveyard easier.

Being 3 Star, it would work well with 4 star tuner for arcanite magician

<3~A little push to all archetypes is all we need to get them balanced. All of them are powerful and unique in a way.

old card - 7 tools of the bandit

Hi guys, as I promised, I will be back with a trap card. And here you go, an amazing trap card, 7 tools of the bandit.

Seven tools of the bandit 盗賊の七つ道具 --> Counter trap card

Pay 1000 life points. Negate the activation of a trap card and destroy it.

Simple? Obviously. Strong? Yes of course. Why do I say this card is strong?
For me, if you notice, it negates a trap card, which means, this is a 'solemn warning' for a trap card. Yeah! And you just need to pay 1000 life points and you can full force attack without any worries.

Advantages =
1. Negates any trap card including counter traps.
2. Its a counter trap by itself.
3. Its not limited so you can put 3 of this.

Disadvantages =
1. 1000 life points may be precious to some people, but not to me lol.
2. Its a trap card, so you need to set it 1st before usage.
3. It negates only a trap card.

So, basically, this card is awesome as what I posted up there. And we need to know that this card is cheap (in tcg side)(in ocg side, im not sure). Yeah...for me, I think I will put this card inside my side deck against those glad beast or maybe decks that need lots of trap cards. Okay, that's all for today, see you guys, and my friend, Aura will be back with a monster card as usual. Bye~

De-synchro

Hi guys, iosmk here and i'm back with a great magic card here. There you go, a de-synchro.

De-synchro シンクロキャンセル --> normal magic card

Select 1 face-up synchro monster. Return it to its owner's Extra Deck. Then, if all the monsters that were used for the Synchro Summon of that monster are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon them.

Basically, this is a very great card, but sometimes people may forget some of the rulings of this card, whereas if any of the monsters that was used as a material has been used as another material of another synchro monster, you can't special summon them back. That's why for those who don't know about the exact ruling and just anyhow special summon, i guess those people need to check the rulings, since it will be imbalance if you can just anyhow special summon those materials.

Move on to the adv and disadv....

Advantages =
1. It is a spell card, which means its a compulsory evacuation device for synchro monsters.
2. You can special summon the materials back.(We will talk about the combos later).
3. It says,"select 1 synchro monster and return to its owner extra deck." Which means opponent synchro monster can be selected.

Disadvantage =
1. You need to know the exact ruling since this card will be broken if the ruling changes.
Note= for the ruling of this card, you may go to google.com and type de-synchro card ruling and check it on yugiohwikia.

Combos =
1. Synchro summon something like trishula, de-synchro, and trishula again. So you can get the effect twice.
2. Synchro summon brionac, bounce cards as much as you want, and de-synchro, synchro again to a beatstick like goyo guardian.
3. Combos with drawing power deck using tuning supporter or darksea rescue.
4. If you synchro-ed using a sangan, you can abuse sangan's effect which is to search another extra monster.

There are many other combos that can be done just by using this one card. So, this card is practically amazing in some decks like dandywarrior deck, tuningsupporter deck and other decks too. I use this card in my quickdraw tuningsupporter deck which makes my deck very strong and I won't run out of resources since i can draw so many cards using tuningsupporter and trishula or other stuffs will help me to gain more field control.

Okay, I'm done with de-synchro, well, I'm sorry that I was late on posting this review. So, see ya guys and I will be back with a trap card. Bye~

The man who came from the dark hole - Dark Grepher!

Alright, I came up with a lame tittle there. Hey Guys, Aura here! I'm here with a card review. This card was widely used ever since it made it's first debut on 13 September, 2008. This single card has a great impact on the Yugioh Game.

Dark Grepher
DARK
Types: Warrior/Effect
Level: 4
ATK/DEF: 1700/1600
You can discard 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster to Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can discard 1 DARK monster to send 1 DARK monster from your Deck to your Graveyard.

When this card was just introduced to the game, it's uses were already very wide. It serves well in Skull Servant decks and a popular deck in the OCG, Hopeless Dragon.

Dark Grepher fuels the Hopeless Dragon Engine and made it much more consistent. Dark Grepher allows Hopeless Dragon to set-up easier or Dark Creator or swarm.

Next up, I'm sure all of you guys are familiar with this, the DAD Era. This single card was what it takes to fuel DARK Monsters to the grave or DAD plays. Discard a Dark, send a Dark, Grepher is a dark and there you go, 3 darks for DAD plays. This card was one of the card which contributed decks to make solid plays. In the DAD Era, there was also this deck that was made tier one, Lightsworns. A twilight Sworn Build runs a minimum of 1 Dark Grepher and that 1 Dark Grepher creates wonders too. It helps to fuel Chaos Sorcerer, Feed the graves with Necro Gardna or any darks for DAD Plays.

With it's debut, another fun deck came to rise. The Nohr Variants. It makes Nohr plays extremely simplified with easy combo. It's basically going Auto-Pilot.

When Paired with a few cards, this card leads up to infinite possible combos. A commonly seen combo is to dump Diabolic Guy or Zombie Carrier to the Grave and follow with the two cards effect for an easy lvl 8. Talking about Zombie Carrier, does it rings any bell? Zombies! Which became tier-one not long after DAD Era. It allows simple plays and this card was an enabler for Synchro Spamming. Another deck that came to rise to Tier one was the Blackwings. At first, Blackwings did not have much synergy with Dark Grepher. However, with the release of Vayu, Dark Grepher presence was not to be missed out in a deck having Vayu as the center of the deck. This, of course also applies to the well known VayuSworn which utilizes Lightsworn's Milling ability to lucksack a Vayu to the grave. It was a strong deck to begin with however, with the advent of the banlist, this deck was pretty much left crippled... Another interesting deck that utilizes this card was the Darklords series and Dark World series.

AND! This card was one of the card that made Infernity more consistent. It helps to empty your hand and helps to set-up Infernity combos for FTKs.

A list of decks that utilizes it:
Tele-DAD
DAD Variants
Twilight Lightsworn
VayuSworn
Hopeless Dragon
Skull Servant
Stardust Buster Deck
DarkLords
DarkWorlds
Blackwings
Jinzo Returner
Chaos Godness Variants
D-Hero
Zombies
Sky Scourge
Infernity

In summary, this card was used greatly in many decks to pile up the graveyard with useful Dark Monsters for future plays. Many people was choosing between this card and Armageddon Knight. It really depends on your playstyle. I personally prefer Dark Grepher because it helps a lot with combos. Armageddon on the other hand is slower but it helps to maintain your hand advantage. Moreover, it is special summon-able which speeds up your play to push for wins.

Dark Grepher, a noble man with red eyes, having a black aura coating on him. He was DAD'S best buddy, many decks owe him because he single handedly made many decks stronger. It's usefulness are limitless. It can be a target for Allure, a 1700 beat stick, Dark's Foolish Burial, thins deck, easily affordable in OCG. What can I say about this guy over here? He is just awesome.
Who would have thought this little man with a 1700 card would help out so many decks?

Aura here, hope you guys enjoy my article on Dark Grepher.

~There is no lousy deck, there are only people who don't understand about their decks

Till Next Time, Guys :D

Mask of Restrict-->useful?

Hi guys, iosmk here. Well, i'm back with a report on a trap card now. Okay, so i will talk about mask of restrict.

Mask of restrict 生贄封じの仮面 --> Continuous Trap Card

Neither player can tribute any monster under any conditions

Well, this card is really simple. It restricts both players to tribute monsters. If you are an old player, this card was used during the old days since there are a lot of release(tribute) summoning. But, it seems like this card is useless nowadays as no one is using it. Is that true? Is this card totally useless now? I don't think so. For me, this card is still awesome. But what can we do with this card? It's not a one for one concept card right? Okay, let me write for you guys the adv and the disadv of this card.

Advantages =
1. It restricts both players to tribute monsters. Which means, Frognarch = dead.
2. It restricts both players to tribute MONSTERS. So, any kind of tribute/release isn't allowed. For example, stardust dragon, it can't use its effect to negate destruction. I'm sure there are lots of monsters that needs to tribute itself or other monsters as a cost to activate their effects.

Disadvantages =
1. It is a trap card. So can be countered pretty easily.
2. It restricts both players.
3. For ocg, i guess its hard to find now.

So, what do you all think? For me, it is a good card as you can use this card to anti-meta those frognarchs or stardust buster/assault mode and those decks that uses tytannial and lonefire blossom. Isn't it awesome? Well, it depends on each person's standpoints. For me, this card will go into my side deck. Thx for reading, even if it isn't much. Will see you guys back with a monster card. Bye~~

Gold sarcophagus VS different dimension capsule

\Hi guys, iosmk here. Sorry for not posting this review on time as I'm busy with my holidays. Okay, move on to topic. Which one is better? Gold Sarco or DD capsule?

VS

Gold Sarcophagus
封印の黄金櫃 --> Normal spell card

Select and remove from play 1 card in your deck. During your second Standby Phase after this card's activation, add the removed card to your hand

Different Dimension Capsule
タイムカプセル --> Normal spell card

After this card is activated, it remains face-up on the field until your 2nd Standby Phase. Select 1 card from your Deck, then shuffle your Deck. Remove it from play and place it face-down. During your 2nd Standby Phase, destroy this card and add the removed card to your hand

Okay, basically, these two cards has same use, which is to search a card from ur deck, remove it and take it back. Of course, when you see these 2 cards effect, all people will say that gold sarcophagus is better. But, who say that DD capsule is bad? Let's compare these two cards by seeing each other's advantages and disadvantages then, starting from gold sarcophagus.

GOLD SARCOPHAGUS...

Good things =
1. After usage, this card is straightly sent to the graveyard
2. Can be used to remove a beatstick monster, and revived it for otk
3. The selected card is removed, so your opponent can't d.d crowed it.
4. It's a foil card. When you don't need that card, you can set it and bluff your opponent.(muahaha)
5. It's shiny and looks cool. XD

Bad things =
1. You remove a card in face-up position. So opponent might know what you are intending to do and chance to be mind crushed or dust shoot-ed
2. It's semi limited
2. You need to wait two turns, whereas you will waste one of your hand-size for your future, so be careful if you are using this card against otk decks
3. It's expensive.

DIFFERENT DIMENSION CAPSULE...

Good things =
1. You remove the card face-down, which means, your opponent can't really predict what will you do and they can't mind crush us easily
2. It's not restricted meaning you can put 3 of these
3. It's common = cheapo

Bad things =
1. It remains on the field until your 2nd standby phase, once it got destroyed, you essentially lost two cards(one from hand and one from deck)
2. It doesn't look nice lol

Well, from these review, of course gold sarcophagus is much better, i do think so too. But when you are considering the price of these 2 cards, its so far away from each other. So, you may consider on putting DD capsule inside your deck if you don't really want to spend money on expensive cards, and you can get almost the same effect as gold sarcophagus. So, why not? And i don't really think people will destroy DD capsule as they feel more relieved when they destroy a face down card that exists on that particular turn. So that's all for today. Will be back and review on a trap card. See you guys. Bye ~

New card from STOR, Potential card

Potential new card, Cluster Pendulum.

Cluster Pendulum クラスター・ペンデュラム --> Effect monster card
When this card is normal summoned, you can special summon "Pendulum Tokens" (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Defense Position up to the number of monsters your opponent controls.

Pro(s)
- Generate many tokens
- Tokens can be used for abuse with cards like E-Con
- Good addition to QuickDraw decks.
- Pairs up with Quickdraw Synchron. With the tokens, Synchroing is as easy as dandylion.
- Given this card and Dandy Lion is in a Quickdraw deck, Quickdraw synchron + 3 Tokens = Profit
- Good Synchro Material.

Con(s)
- Wastes a normal summon.
- Effect cannot be activated when SS if not if would have been too broken right? xD

Basically, the tokens summoned can be easily abused. It can used for synchro. Being a humble level one monster, it opens up a lot of options. The tokens can be paired up with lvl one tuners for Formula synchron for +1s. It gives u a lot of advantage. Who cares if u waste a normal summon? This deck gives you what u need for synchro combos. This card isn't very broken but it's nice to see a pretty good card as common.

Hope u guys would like my article. I'll try to brush up on my writing skills.
Thank you

Stay Tuned :D

Dragon

As the title suggest, this article will be about Dragons.

Ever since Yu-Gi-Oh existed, Dragons were there. They were thought to be mystical beast. Blue-Eyes White Dragon was a fearful monster in the game of Yu-Gi-Oh, being the highest attack monster in the game.
As the games evolve, Dragons are still boss monsters. Starting with the 5 Dragons of the 5D's series, Stardust Dragon, Red Dragon Archfiend, Ancient Fairy Dragon, Black-Winged Dragon and Black Rose Dragon. Dragons are often boss monsters. Example? Rainbow Dragon, Dark Rainbow Dragon, Judgement Dragon, Trishula, Dark Armed Dragon and many more. However, despite these monsters being Dragons, they does not contribute much to the Dragon type. However, with the limited card pool, Dragons can still be competitive. Especially when the format was dominated by Blackwings and Lightsworn, Dragons stands out a lot. There was this Dragon Deck born in that particular format. It was called Disaster Dragon, innovated by Richard Clarke. This deck has countless tops and this deck was very popular among dragon duellists. When Richard Clarke is creating this deck, he was going for a more control approach. This deck has the capabilities or being an Anti-Meta deck and has Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to give it a aggressive side. Not long ago, two Dragon decks has topped YCS. One being a Disaster Dragon and the other being a good old standard dragon deck. It looks just like Disaster Dragon apart from not having Koa Ki Meiru Dragon.

Without further ado, Disaster Dragon

Monsters: 19
3 Koa’ki Meiru Drago
3 Red-Eyes Wyvern
3 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
3 Masked Dragon
1 Light and Darkness Dragon
1 Vice Dragon
1 Prime Material Dragon
1 Exploder Dragon
1 Totem Dragon
1 Delta Flyer
1 Dread Dragon

Spells: 12
3 Book of Moon
2 Gold Sarcophagus
2 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Future Fusion
1 Enemy Controller
1 Monster Reborn
1 Dark Hole
1 Giant Trunade

Traps: 9
2 Solemn Warning
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force
1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
1 Burst Breath

This wasn't the original build by Richard Clarke for this format though. This deck list was taken from the offical YGO website, this Dragon deck was Top 16 at YCS Milan. The deck is pretty self-explanatory. Koai'Ki Mieru Drago says no to Light and Darkness Special Summoning. Having that said, it stops Cyber Dragons, Blackwings, Lightsworn, DarkLords, Angel deck, perfect declarer, Infernity and etc. The Traps and Spells line-up are like Anti Meta deck's line-up. This deck is supposed to be played slowly and control your opponent's plays. Infact, this deck covers a wide variety of deck. Prime Material is an awesome card. REDMD allows reuse of Dragon synchros. Meaning, a +1 every turn. Red-Eyes Wyvern allows REDMD to be revived. It is a sub-par play because it only has REDMD as a traget. However, it's extremely easy to pull out this combo. In TCG, they do not have Dragon, a field spell that is like a dragon's foolish burial every turn. This card helps this deck to adapt to situations easily.

A quote from my Dragon Team Thread at Pojo.
Disaster Dragon is a control oriented deck that plays disruption strategies mixed with lockdown aggression to gain and maintain control of the board. It carries a lot of momentum and explosive power as the deck can consistently drop 2+ monsters per turn without losing advantage and often times they will be big monsters. This is done through the use of the decks backbone card “Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon”. Weighing in at 2800ATK this card is easily the most powerful or one of the most powerful dragons in the deck, outclassed only by a potential “White Night Dragon”. Red-Eyes effect allows for the constant recursion of monsters from the graveyard as well as the ability to bypass the normal summon limit and the requirements for tributes that many decks suffer from. As a result Disaster decks are packing some of the highest ATK monsters in the present Metagame, because they can bypass the tribute mechanic required to summon them.

Obviously ATK points don’t do much on their own but the fact that its carrying these powerhouses only serves to solidify Disaster Dragons real strength; disruption and lockdown. Through the usage of cards such as Koa’ki Meiru Drago, Exploder Dragon and Light and Darkness Dragon alone the deck is capable of shutting out and eliminating a majority of plays made by the current popular decks. The deck plays like a toolbox, with Masked Dragon working to recruit the dragons you need for tributes, Synchros, battle, monster removal, etc and cards like Red-Eyes Darkness and Genesis Dragon allowing you to reuse them. Cards such as Foolish Burial and Future Fusion allow you to dump dragons into your graveyard faster while also aiding in the deck inherent synergy; some dragons such as Yamata Dragon or Light and Darkness Dragon cannot be Special Summoned, thus they are unable to cheat their 2-tribute requirement via Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon as most dragons would. Instead the deck utilizes “Totem Dragon” a self-recurring dragon that can act as 2 sacrifices in order to summon a dragon-type monster. Being a dragon in itself Totem Dragon is a viable target to search with Masked Dragon or to dump with Future Fusion. It can also be easily revived via Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon.

The idea with Koa'ki Meiru Drago is to play it after Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon is on the field, or simply remove him from the field by other means in order to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon. One of the most common analogies for Koa'ki Meiru Drago usage compares it to a switch, courtesy of a feature match involving Richard Clarke where he flipped Koa'ki Meiru Drago on and off the field allowing himself all the Special Summons and locking his opponent out of everything.

Future Fusion also carries synergy with the newly released Genesis Dragon. Allowing you to discard dragons from your deck to the grave and simply retrieve them to your hand in a form of reverse tutoring. Genesis Dragon also carries synergy with Yamata Dragon and Light and Darkness Dragon. Both dragons cannot be Special Summoned from the grave but via Genesis they can be resummoned again and again. An infinite loop exists with Light and Darkness Dragon and Genesis Dragon where in you sacrifice Red-Eyes Darkness Metal and Genesis Dragon for Light and Darkness Dragon. When that dies you bring back Red-Eyes and use its effect to revive Genesis who grabs back the Light and Darkness Dragon. Then you can sacrifice them both to summon it again and spam Light and Darkness Dragon. It’s fairly unstable for obvious reasons but the ability to infinitely reuse a monster as powerful as Light and Darkness Dragon is definitely an option the deck has at its disposal.

In basic summary Disaster Dragon is a more control oriented deck that utilizes a full deck of dragons. As it doesn't rely on any combo's to go off it’s by far the most consistent dragon deck and is one of the favoured choices online. Future Fusion is the power house dumper of the deck, and although it’s not needed it kicks the deck into high gear instantly by giving you 5 dragons of your choice in the grave - right where you want them. Masked Dragon acts as a recruiter toolbox engine, Red-Eyes can swarm the field or reuse dragons, Yamata and Light and Darkness rack up a ton of advantage and disrupt/lock down the field, Prime Material Dragon covers your dragons from s/t hate, Koa'ki Meiru locks out the top decks Light and Dark summons and also acts as another control measure and Genesis is basically the best thing ever, allowing you to recycle lost dragons, trade in dead ones and tons more. The deck does not pilot itself and requires forethought and careful consideration of options. Every choice made with what you dump, search, revive can tilt the scales in either favour. It plays aggressively - as almost every monster in the deck has higher ATK than opposing monsters they can utilize this in their favour and play a momentum game. By locking down the opponents options while you continue to amass your own it is quite easy to take complete control of a duel in a matter of turns.

Next SOL Dragon.

This was probably the strongest Dragon deck. However, with the advent of the banlist, it has pretty much crippled this deck. "SOL Dragon" is an advantage oriented variant of the popular "Hopeless Dragon" One-Turn-Kill deck that originated from Japan. SOL Dragon utilizes the tuner monster "The White Stone of Legend" to fuel its draw engines and feed its hand and graveyard with "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"(s) for "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon" to then revive and swarm the field with. Unlike most Hopeless decks this deck does not play to OTK and as such a lot of the card choices in the deck are chosen to help it last longer into duels, give it more options and aid in abusing the advantage generated by White Stone of Legend. The deck is, as I have already said, and advantage engine. It plays by wearing the opponent down with large beaters and lightning fast Special Summons. It retains advantage through all of this because the beaters come from the Graveyard, and are thus able to be considered "Pseudo-floaters", the Special Summons from the hand and Extra Deck are in the form of monsters such as Chaos Sorcerer and Arcanite Magician; monsters who pay for their summoning cost by clearing cards from the opponents field. All the while as this goes on SOL Dragon is able to maintain a consistent draw engine powered by 3 draw cards. Each and every target for these draw cards is searchable and as a result dead draws are rare. The deck is very live and very versatile. The deck as a whole is a gargantuan draw engine; 13 of the cards in the deck can be considered "high level" monsters, and thats a majority of your monsters, however its a minority in your deck and each of those high level monsters is capable of fueling at least one of the 3 different draw cards in the deck, if not 2 of them - or in Plasma's case all 3. In addition to that almost all of them are Special Summons with easy costs to play.
The benefit of Trade-In in the SOL engine is that every draw target is searchable with Plasma acting as a sort of fiber between them all. Level 8, D-Hero and Dark. Its searchable via Stratos and a 4th target for Trade-In. Also every target for the D-Hero engine is recruitable via Stratos and as such your targets for Allure and D-Draw are recruitable. That means every target for every draw card is able to be searched. On top of all that almost every card in the deck is either Light or Dark which in turn fuels both Chaos Sorcerer and Dark Armed Dragon.
Every monster in the deck is either a Floater, Pseudo-Floater or a named Destiny Hero. Destiny Hero - Plasmas uses have already been outlined. Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude acts as another fiber to merge the deck together; Dark for Allure, DAD and Chaos Sorcerer, D-Hero for Stratos and Destiny Draw, level 4 Warrior for Reinforcement of the Army and an ability that can give you any Normal Spell in the deck for free. This sets up potential abuse with the 3 draw cards, both Trade-In and Destiny Draw can be activated for a free 2 draws if hit by Diamond Dude's effect while Allure will give you its draw but still require a removal.
As every monster in the deck is designed to work in tandem with the rest of the deck, while paying for itself and fueling the draw engine it is easy to see how in a matter of turns this deck can reduce the opponents field to a simplified game state of 1-2 cards including their hand, while your field and hand still consists of the same number of cards you drew at the beginning of the duel. By abusing the decks inherent nature to feed itself free cards at the expense of your opponent and playing the simplification game there is very little your opponent will be able to do when you decide to start dropping dragons.

And drop dragons this deck does. A single Red-Eyes Darkness Metal paired with a Blue-Eyes and a Chaos Sorcerer is enough ATK points to go for game. Though this deck may not play OTK that certainly doesn't mean it can't explode into one. Chaos Sorcerer's use in this deck is vital; serving almost as important a role as The White Stone of Legend. It merges the Light and Dark themes, acts as a free 2300ATK beat stick while also possessing the ability to float upon summon via the removal of an opposing monster. When combined with the Stone of Legend it opens up plays into Arcanite Magician; this decks best secret weapon.
Not many opponents expect a dragon deck to be able to drop a Sorcerer on turn one, sync it to a White Stone for a Bottomless dodging Arcanite which can then proceed to wipe 2 more cards off their field. But regardless of whether or not they expect it; this deck can do it. And it can do it well.
In summary; SOL Dragon is an advantage oriented deck that aims to wear the opponent out of resources whilst maintaining its own, all the while dropping free 2000ATK+ monsters each turn. By playing the simplification game and exhausting the opponents resources to the point where they have no answers left for your monsters you can easily achieve total control of the board, the duel and win it in a matter of turns. This deck is explosive and fast, however, its greatest strength lies in its incredible versatility.

As I said earlier, the limiting of D-Draw really hurt this deck. There is a build that only runs 1 D-Draw. It's still awesome and no doubt better than Hopeless Dragon. It pulls crazy OTK much more consistently. However, You can still play it slowly and beat your opponent by overwhelming with advantage. I could show a deck list but I'm lazy to do that now x_x

It has plenty more variants that do better for this format.

Hopeless Dragon isn't the only Dragon deck that is strong. Sure it is good but still, it's inconsistent. I've played it tons of times already. Moreover, with the advent of the banlist, leaving allure at 1 and stuffs like that, it has left the deck even more inconsistent. The popular "Hopeless Dragon" One-Turn-Kill deck that originated from Japan. This is where it all started. This deck is one of the most inconsistent deck of the meta but still, it's a very strong deck and swarms your opponent to death. It gives quite a few tops at regional. No dount the other dragon decks are much better but if u are lucky enough in a tournament, this deck gives u win too.

Source is from my team thread which has a lot of good Dragon players. Both innovators of Disaster and SOL are in the team thread. Do check it out if u are interested

Sorry that this post is very lengthy :/ I just thought i should write smth about my favourite type. I'll post about a new card later.

What's so amazing of the card called 'Karma Cut'?

Hi guys, iosmk here. It has been 3 days since i posted about inferno reckless summon, and i promised that every 3 days, we will post our thoughts on a specific card. So, here's the card.

Karma Cut 因果切断 --> Normal trap card

Discard 1 card. Remove from play 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. Then, remove from play any cards in your opponent's Graveyard with the same name as that monster.

Well, i guess some people will think that, "what's so special about this card? We have a better card like dimensional prison isn't it?" In some ways, yeah, i can say that dimensional prison is better whereas you don't need to pay any cost to activate it. So, here are some advantages and disadvantages that we discussed.

Advantages =
1. It doesn't state when opponent atk or sth, So, we can use it in main
phase 1 or 2.
2. Well, this card is simple, i can't say much about it, but...if this
card is inside your side deck, you will have a great advantage.
We can side this card especially against lightsworn. Yeah. Usually,
Judgment dragon may be milled to grave by the LS, whereas when they
have 1 in their hand, they should rush and sp summon it. But imagine,
when you have a set karma cut, your opponent sp summon judgment dragon
and you know what happen next. He will bomb the field and you can
chain karma cut. If there's another Judgment in grave, they're pretty
much dead already. So think about it.
3. This card can be used against harpie lady too. If you remove a harpie
Lady, other Harpie Ladies(any number) will be removed. So we can say
that karma cut is almost a 'system down' for harpie lady's deck.
4. This card can be used against flamvell decks and quickdraw decks.
Please think about it. It's pretty simple.

Disadvantage = 1. You need to discard 1 card.

That's all for disadvantage. Well, so potentially, this card is good too. I've been always use this card as a side deck, and it helped me won against machina deck too. you know, when machina fortress isn't in their hand or grave, they will be desperate for it. Yeah, so this card is awesome against machina too.

Okay, that's all for today. Sorry, we can't write as much as inferno reckless summon, since it's an anti-meta card. How to abuse it? Well, we gotta think about it later. We have no time, coz we are spending our 2 months of holidays happily. We need to work hard next year, so we gotta enjoy this holiday to the fullest. See you guys in the next 3 days. Next time, we will write about a monster. So, we will be looking forward into it. You guys should too. XD. Bye

Combos on Inferno reckless summon

Hi guys, iosmk here. Starting from now, we will be discussing on a chosen card and we will post that specific card here to let people know on what we think of that card's potential.

Inferno reckless summon 地獄の暴走召喚 --> Quick-spell card

You can only activate this card when 1 monster with an ATK of 1500 points or less is Special Summoned to your side of the field while there is a face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field. Special Summon all cards with the same name as the Summoned monster from your hand, Deck, and Graveyard in face-up Attack Position. Your opponent selects 1 monster on their side of the field and Special Summons all cards with that same name from their hand, Deck, and Graveyard.

Looks like a normal card huh? Nah, those people who think that it is kinda useless, i think you are wrong. Why?

Because this card is amazing. Look at the effect. it stated 1500 atk points or less, whereas nowadays, special summoning 3 monsters with 1500 atk points or less is pretty useful, since we can use them as synchro summon material. And it is stated "from hand, deck or graveyard", so we can say that we are confirmed to be able to special summon 3 at the same time. Except one or two of them got removed.

Don't believe? Here are some combos that tells you the reason why this card is good.

1. Battery Deck. Use battery charger to special summon batteryman AA, then inferno reckless summon batteryman AA, you get 3 batteryman AA whereas each of them has 3000 atk. Short circuit. Opponent has a blank field. 3000 X 3 = 9000, which means otk. Yes, its an OTK.

2. Morphtronic Deck. All morphtronic monsters are 1500 atk and below, which means you can use this card to special summon any morphtronics. Since i have a morphtronic deck, i will share some combos.
- You have 1 celfon, 1 inferno reckless summon and 1 any level 4 morphtronic monster.
Firstly, summon celfon, roll a die(to otk, you need to get a scopen from celfon's
effect). Sp summon scopen in defense, then chain inferno reckless summon, special
summon another 2 scopen. Use scopen's effect in atk position to sp summon a level 4
morphtronic monster. So on the field is 1 celfon, 3 scopen(1 in def, 2 in atk) and
1 level 4 morphtronic. Synchro scopen(in def) with the level 4 morphtronic monster,
go for gigantic fighter(colossal fighter). Synchro scopen with celfon(in atk) for
an arm's head(armory arm). And you know what? Yeah, colossal + arm's head otk.
- In hand = You have 1 boarden, 1 magic that's able to special summon a monster or 1
set trap that's able to sp summon a monster, 1 inferno reckless and 1 limit break.
or an equip spell card.
summon boarden, use the magic/trap special summon boomboxen(only boomboxen),inferno
reckless boomboxen, use equip, then all atk direct. Damage step, use limit break.
So, (1200 X 2) X 3 boomboxen + 500 + equip card = 7200+500+equip(almost all equip
will boost you at least 300 = 8000 or 8000++. Otk.

3. Quickdraw deck. Please go and see the video on ygo-cafe's OSS deck where they use inferno reckless summon on quickdraw synchron and managed to otk easily.
Link to the video.

4. Burn deck. Special summon solar flare dragon, inferno reckless and you got 3 solar flare there. Fire trooper works well too.

5. Zombie deck. If you have call of the mummy, creature swap, inferno reckless summon and 1 pyramid turtle, it's a huge beatdown. Don't know? Go figure it out. At least you can damage around 6000 to 8000 to your opponent.

6. Many many more.

The only bad thing abt this card is that you need to fulfill the requirement where you can only activate this card when opponent has a face up monster, and your opponent gets to special summon the monster that they control(well, if they have the same copy of that monster in the deck). For your information, synchro monsters can't be special summoned from the extra deck, but they can sp summon the synchro monsters if they have it inside the graveyard. But still, it should be easy to abuse this card without letting your opponent special summoning their monsters too. Yeah. This card is awesome.

SO, In the end, i assume that this card is pretty good to abuse and the good thing is, this card is cheap. Okay, i think i will stop here. Cya guys. We will be posting more abt our thoughts on cards on the next 3 days. So thx for reading. Bye

QuickDraw Synchron Vs. The Tricky

This is more about Accel deck if anyone is interested.

The Tricky Vs. QuickDraw Synchron

Alright, you guys might think what the hell is this? Of course QuickDraw Synchron will win because Bla Bla Bla. Not nessecary though. Why?

QuickDraw synchrons has more restrictions than The Tricky. Suppose that you have an Accel deck. What is your aim? To summon shooting star asap. To abuse Shooting Star's multiple attack effect, u need loads of tuners. Junk Synchron, QuickDraw Synchron, Growup Bulb, 1 level tuners and stuffs like that. Say u get a hand of quickdraw Synchron. What are the chances of drawing another junk Synchron or maybe Grow-up build which will a dead weight in the hand because it will not help QuickDraw at all. Whereases in the other hand, if u think in terms of statistics , the chances of opening The Tricky with a tuner for synchro is very high.

Next, QuickDraw Synchron urge the master to drop a monster card to special summon it Whilst The tricky has no such requirements. Therefore, it is much more usable and covers a wider aspect. Still, I would still say go ahead and run 2 QuickDraw Synchron but one or two The Tricky won't hurt of u do some fine tuning.

Alright, I'm still aware that QuickDraw is good because it has the card 'Tuning' to support it, making it easily accessible. Still, The Tricky is a pretty interesting choice for a shooting star deck. Try it.

(Props to Kahu from Pojo for teaching and refining my skills and thoughts of Accel synchro-ing.)

New member!!

Hey Guys, I'm new here. I'm a Dragon Player who has played almost all kinds of Dragon decks ;P
I got invited by Iosmk to this blog. I'm more fimilar with Dragunity, Dragons and Quickdraws.

My resolution... I believe that my Dragons are up to standard and it's possible to beat Meta deck(which means i want to prove to the readers that original deck can be strong too). I wanna prove to people that Dragon or many other decks aren't just one-sided. Any deck can be strong(with a proper duelist and good tuning deck skill). I wanna share more yugioh theories and hopefully help u guys out there.

If anybody is interested. I have a team thread at Pojo.

I hope I'll be a good contributor to this blog...
Guys, this blog needs an update! :3

Tournament report !!

Hey guys, iosmk here. I'm in Indonesia right now and i went to some card shops this week. I saw lots of people having their divine warning and pot of duality in english which makes me envy them >.<
Oh well, joined a tournament just now. So, here's the report!!
Single elimination tournament, around 16 people joined.
1st price = Stardust dragon (TCG)
2nd price = Dark end dragon (TCG)
3rd price = formula synchron (TCG)
4th price = Gorz, the emissary of darkness (TCG)

Deck used = SMS deck (Quick synchron drawingpower deck)

Top 16

Me VS D.D. Deck ---> OO
1. I started first, have a good starting hand of a tuning supporter, machine dup, junk synchron, torrential tribute and some "useless on the first turn" cards. Set tuning supporter and torrential. I controlled his backrows and managed to Shooting star the next turn. Controlled there.
2. (sided Imperial iron wall) Usual strong hand without tuning supporter, but managed to go for drill warrior and junk destroyer loop. Next turn he used dimensional fissure which i cursed jammer, and he didnt do anything. Win in the next turn and saw his hand, didn't want to say it, pity him lol. Sadly imperial nvr come out, but oh well, i win in the end.

Top 8

Me VS ???
Instant win since he got some emergency stuffs to do. Luckily the organiser let him go and give him half the money he paid.

Top 4
Me VS Blackwings ---> XOO
1. He started 1st. Bad hand of curse jammer, royal decree, avarice, mind control, synchron explorer and hurricane. He killed me in two turns since i don't get any tuners. He also set his back cards, icarus and delta crowed me.
2. ANGER, lol. i didn't side anything hehe but lucky, he got a really bad hand of 3 delta crow, 2 icarus and 1 D.A.D. So i do the usual tuningsupporter crazy drawing thing and managed to flood field with 1 drill warrior, 1 junk destroyer, 1 nitro warrior and 1 level stealer. Wonder how i do it? hehe its a secret.
3. He sided the card (tribute 1 dark monster with 2000 or more atk, then for 3 turns see ur opp hand and destroy all monster with 1500 or below, sry forget the card name). A normal hand and i set 1 tuningsupporter and 1 royal decree(hehe). he summoned sirocco and bora, pierced my cute tuningsupporter, argh painful, and main phase 2, he set 1 card then end. I thought it was Delta crow, so i just ignore it and decided to use royal decree on standby, once i drew and went to standby phase, he chained the card he sided lol, so i happy happy royal decree. ^^ debris dragon take tuningsupporter, machine dup, synchro stardust, i got 2 dandy, 1 141, 1 quickdraw = to shooting star plus drew 3+1(formula) and drawed monster reborn. LOL shooting star atk thrice. He died...

Final Round
Me vs X-Saber ---> XX
1. Bad hand. Don't even wanna think abt it. He used two emergency saber whatever shit call back all his sabers, discarded my cards. Died from there.
2. Nothing much to say. I tried my best, Managed to shooting star but he brionac-ed me and he controlled from there.

So, Dark End Dragon becomes mine lol. Okay, tournament ended. Ppl asked for my A.O.J catastor english and traded with good stuffs, haha. I bought mine in Sg at like around 10, and traded for sth worth around 20 converted to SGD. not bad... okay thx guys for viewing this. Huh? Decklist? Don't feel like posting yet, since it's originated from SilentCiel (ygo-cafe) thx to him. Okay, gotta go now. Will post more about my dueling in Indonesia, tournament and non-tournament. BYE...
