Hi guys, iosmk here. Really really sorry for not updating the blog for around 2 weeks. I'm busy with sec 3 stuffs. Oh well, joined a free tourney today and here's the report.
Deck used = Quickdandy deck
Round 1 vs six samurai XOO
1st duel = 1 gateway with 2 shien, can't do much but stalled for few turns and died as he used double edged sword technique.
2nd duel = 1st turn gorz, next turn spore and go for stardust plus caius and controlled from there.
3rd duel = set dandy and spawned 2 tokens, lonefire and go for tytannial to control.
Round 2 vs Rei BF OXO
1st duel = ryko-ed his shura and debris plus quickdraw for control.
2nd duel = gorz 1st turn, but he icarus-ed to control and book of moons stopped my moves.
3rd duel = Both of us didn't have a really good hand, but i went for caius and removed the correct card which is shura instead of the backrow, and without hesitation go for stardust and game.
Round 3 vs Johnathan Six Samurai XX
1st duel = gateway + six sam united to take lots of advantages and magatama saved him.
2nd duel = bad hand with 1 quickdraw and 2 debris without any caius and he controlled using shien plus double edged sword technique.
Round 4 vs dandywarrior XX
1st duel = just because i don't have trishula i'm a noob. Got trishula-ed and dead. Will take my revenge as soon as i got my trishula.
2nd duel = Controlled with drill warrior but next turn when i wanted to take my dandylion, he dd crowed me. Say bye bye.
Round 5 vs tcg x saber XX
1st duel = Same thing happened like last time. shooting star and he brionac-ed me.
2nd duel = Tried to stall but got too less handsize to control and lost.
In the end, got a top 20 place out of +/- 37 people i guess.
Key card used by me to win = Caius
Card that loves me as i got that card in almost every of my 1st turn = Gorz
Key card that opponent used to kill me = Dark hole
Well, even if i scrubbed, its quite a good experience. Some of you may think why don't i side deck? Yes, the tourney didn't allow side deck since its a free tourney. That's all i can say today, will try to win on friday(hougang's free tourney). Bye~
~Use the least number of cards as possible to take as much advantage as possible~
