Happy New Year! :D
Hope you guys will have a fun time duelling, enjoying life and may your wishes come true in 2011!
Today, I've got a card that I really really like. It isn't mass released yet but it will come real soon. In Feb, in the Yugioh movie pack. Blue-Eyes White Dragon!
Nah, I'm kidding. Sin Truth Dragon. The Malefic monster's ace.
Malefic Truth Dragon /Dark/12/ 5000/5000/ Dragon/Effect:
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. If a face-up "Malefic" monster, except "Malefic Truth Dragon", is destroyed by battle or a card effect, you can pay half your Life Points to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.
This is the Malefic monster's boss. This card is basically incredible! It has a 5000 atk and 500 DEF which overwhelms the other boss monsters which are usually at 3000. It is on pr with F.G.D's attack. Given that it dies, just blow your opponent's field FTW.
It has the ability to rebirth itself from the grave when one of your Malefic monster is destroyed for some wicked plays. With the card, Dragon Canyon, it makes Sin Truth Dragon extremely accessible. Dragon Canyon is a searchable Field Spell via Terraforming, acting as a Sin Truth Dragon dumper. It is able to supplement the Malefic monster's needs for a field spell whilst also dropping Truth into the grave as a contingency plan this card is a staple in most Malefic decks. If you run it, run 3. With 3 Terraforming and 3 Malefic World provided it comes out because when Malefic World comes out, I'll scream like hell and make a sin deck <3
Quoted Ruling:
Once in the grave play a field spell over the original Field. Rulings state that when you do that there is a gap, so your Malefic monster is destroyed (if your opponent does it there is no gap) then you can chain all the Truth's in your graveyard and swarm with them.
Malefic Truth's rulings state that even if a Malefic dies in the middle of a chain you can just activate him afterwards so he can't miss the timing. Provided it keeps its effect Malefic World lets you control more than one Malefic monster at a time.
Fantastic. I love sins. I'm gonna post a Sin deck when I'm done testing online.
It's a short review, sorry about that. Holidays are gonna be over >.> I HATE IT. School is gonna resume. *Yawns* I don't want to go to school @_@

Bounce it back! Phoenix Wing Wind Blast
Hi guys, iosmk here. Firstly, I wanna wish all of you a Merry Christmas. May God bless you till the end of time lol. Okay, now i wanna present you a strong trap card, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast.
Phoenix Wing Wind Blast 鳳翼の爆風 --> Normal Trap Card
Discard 1 card from your hand. Return 1 card your opponent controls to the top of its owner's deck
What's the concept of this card then? You need to discard 1 card while bouncing only 1 of your opponent's card. Isn't it a bad thing to do? I would say no. Why?
Card concept = To us --> -2 (-1 hand and -1 field)
To opp--> -2 (-1 field and -1 hand since the next draw will still be the same)
So, isn't it good? Try to think of it, when your opponent has only 1 card on the field, you can use this card, and bounce it, so opponent's field will be empty, and his/her next draw will still be the same one. Isn't it awesome? So the concept applies, you won't lose anything and opponent will be in danger. Sadly, this card applies to your opponent only. If this card applies to you too, i guess you can abuse this card with some cards, and the bad thing is you need to discard a card too, which makes this card balanced. If there isn't any cost for this card, I assume that this card is too godly and will be banned for sure. This card works in tcg and ocg side for your information, and it isn't that expensive compared to some other defensive cards like solemn warning (tcg side). But still, being able to use this card and gain advantage is not easy. There are some situation where you must know when to use this card, and when not to. So, you guys may try using this card and test it out, decide when to use this card and fast or slow you will know how to totally abuse this card and make your opponent desperate. Okay, I will stop here, bye~
~Every card has its own power and weaknesses. You can abuse it in many ways~

Swap mine with yours! Creature Swap
Hi guys, Iosmk here. Firstly, I would like to apologize as I'm late on posting this review due to my holiday lol. Okay, now, here's a card that won't go to our junk pile. It's awesome. Creature Swap.
Creature Swap 強制転移 --> Normal Spell card
Each player selects 1 monster they control and switches control of those monsters with each other. Those monsters cannot change their battle positions for the rest of this turn
So, what's the good thing about this card? Well, I can't say much about the good things and the bad things, the good thing is we are the one who choose our own monster to be swapped with opponent. The bad thing is our opponent is the one who choose his own monster(if we are the one who choose, this card will be broken right). Yeah. So, what can we do with this card? A lot of things to do.
1. Very simple. Opponent has a strong monster(either a synchro or a beatstick), set your own sangan or those cards that will activate in your graveyard, and attack with the synchro you just got. So, your hand +1 and a monster on your field while your opponent's field will be empty.
2. Swap with tokens. Isn't it better to have a monster rather than having an atk and def 0 token, am i right?
3. Works with 2 UFO or pyramid turtle. You all should know how it works right.
4. I guess there was an OTK combo that needs this card isn't it?
5. Credit to Dsummon = creature swap + scrap shark. Please go to his blog for more info. I don't wanna write too much.
6. Many other combos that you can think of to abuse this card's effect.
So, basically, this card isn't a 1 for 1 concept, but still, its good to take field advantage. So, why don't you try out this card and see how can it work in your deck? Yeah. Well, I don't have anything to write anymore about this card's review, so... bye~
~Don't ever give up! Whenever you lost a duel/match, don't regret it, but think and learn from what you did so that you won't make that mistake(s) for the second time~

GraveKeeper Recruiter for the +1 of your choice!
GraveKeeper's Recruiter
Gravekeeper's Recruiter --> Effect Monster Card
When this card you control is sent to the graveyard, add 1 "GraveKeeper's" monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand
OMG! This card!
Did you remember how X-Saber was like before it got X-Saber Dark Soul? When DarkSoul made it's debut to it's game, it was affirmative to be a staple in X-Sabers.
GraveKeepers have been a potential Tier-One deck and it simply need a push from something like this. Who doesn't like +1? Synchro it, Dump it or watever u can think of to send this card for a +1!
GK Spy > GK Descendant > Summon GK Recruiter > Tribute to destroy > +1 :D
Not only that, it works well with Royal Tribute. Discard all cards in your hand? Not worry as GraveKeeper will help u get a +1 of your choice. Combo is best used during the start of the game. Congrats! U reset everything with a card of your choice!!!
Anyone who knows the 1st turn Nohr thing would know how devastating this combo can be.
1200 is low attack but 1200 suits it. Cards like these are designed to be of low attack so that u can abuse the card's low stats to get it into graveyard easier.
Being 3 Star, it would work well with 4 star tuner for arcanite magician
<3~A little push to all archetypes is all we need to get them balanced. All of them are powerful and unique in a way.

old card - 7 tools of the bandit
Hi guys, as I promised, I will be back with a trap card. And here you go, an amazing trap card, 7 tools of the bandit.
Seven tools of the bandit 盗賊の七つ道具 --> Counter trap card
Pay 1000 life points. Negate the activation of a trap card and destroy it.
Simple? Obviously. Strong? Yes of course. Why do I say this card is strong?
For me, if you notice, it negates a trap card, which means, this is a 'solemn warning' for a trap card. Yeah! And you just need to pay 1000 life points and you can full force attack without any worries.
Advantages =
1. Negates any trap card including counter traps.
2. Its a counter trap by itself.
3. Its not limited so you can put 3 of this.
Disadvantages =
1. 1000 life points may be precious to some people, but not to me lol.
2. Its a trap card, so you need to set it 1st before usage.
3. It negates only a trap card.
So, basically, this card is awesome as what I posted up there. And we need to know that this card is cheap (in tcg side)(in ocg side, im not sure). Yeah...for me, I think I will put this card inside my side deck against those glad beast or maybe decks that need lots of trap cards. Okay, that's all for today, see you guys, and my friend, Aura will be back with a monster card as usual. Bye~
~Don't ever blame your cards and you will see how obedient they can be~

De-synchro
Hi guys, iosmk here and i'm back with a great magic card here. There you go, a de-synchro.
De-synchro シンクロキャンセル --> normal magic card
Select 1 face-up synchro monster. Return it to its owner's Extra Deck. Then, if all the monsters that were used for the Synchro Summon of that monster are in your Graveyard, you can Special Summon them.
Basically, this is a very great card, but sometimes people may forget some of the rulings of this card, whereas if any of the monsters that was used as a material has been used as another material of another synchro monster, you can't special summon them back. That's why for those who don't know about the exact ruling and just anyhow special summon, i guess those people need to check the rulings, since it will be imbalance if you can just anyhow special summon those materials.
Move on to the adv and disadv....
Advantages =
1. It is a spell card, which means its a compulsory evacuation device for synchro monsters.
2. You can special summon the materials back.(We will talk about the combos later).
3. It says,"select 1 synchro monster and return to its owner extra deck." Which means opponent synchro monster can be selected.
Disadvantage =
1. You need to know the exact ruling since this card will be broken if the ruling changes.
Note= for the ruling of this card, you may go to google.com and type de-synchro card ruling and check it on yugiohwikia.
Combos =
1. Synchro summon something like trishula, de-synchro, and trishula again. So you can get the effect twice.
2. Synchro summon brionac, bounce cards as much as you want, and de-synchro, synchro again to a beatstick like goyo guardian.
3. Combos with drawing power deck using tuning supporter or darksea rescue.
4. If you synchro-ed using a sangan, you can abuse sangan's effect which is to search another extra monster.
There are many other combos that can be done just by using this one card. So, this card is practically amazing in some decks like dandywarrior deck, tuningsupporter deck and other decks too. I use this card in my quickdraw tuningsupporter deck which makes my deck very strong and I won't run out of resources since i can draw so many cards using tuningsupporter and trishula or other stuffs will help me to gain more field control.
Okay, I'm done with de-synchro, well, I'm sorry that I was late on posting this review. So, see ya guys and I will be back with a trap card. Bye~

The man who came from the dark hole - Dark Grepher!
Alright, I came up with a lame tittle there. Hey Guys, Aura here! I'm here with a card review. This card was widely used ever since it made it's first debut on 13 September, 2008. This single card has a great impact on the Yugioh Game.
Dark Grepher
DARK
Types: Warrior/Effect
Level: 4
ATK/DEF: 1700/1600
You can discard 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster to Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can discard 1 DARK monster to send 1 DARK monster from your Deck to your Graveyard.
When this card was just introduced to the game, it's uses were already very wide. It serves well in Skull Servant decks and a popular deck in the OCG, Hopeless Dragon.
Dark Grepher fuels the Hopeless Dragon Engine and made it much more consistent. Dark Grepher allows Hopeless Dragon to set-up easier or Dark Creator or swarm.
Next up, I'm sure all of you guys are familiar with this, the DAD Era. This single card was what it takes to fuel DARK Monsters to the grave or DAD plays. Discard a Dark, send a Dark, Grepher is a dark and there you go, 3 darks for DAD plays. This card was one of the card which contributed decks to make solid plays. In the DAD Era, there was also this deck that was made tier one, Lightsworns. A twilight Sworn Build runs a minimum of 1 Dark Grepher and that 1 Dark Grepher creates wonders too. It helps to fuel Chaos Sorcerer, Feed the graves with Necro Gardna or any darks for DAD Plays.
With it's debut, another fun deck came to rise. The Nohr Variants. It makes Nohr plays extremely simplified with easy combo. It's basically going Auto-Pilot.
When Paired with a few cards, this card leads up to infinite possible combos. A commonly seen combo is to dump Diabolic Guy or Zombie Carrier to the Grave and follow with the two cards effect for an easy lvl 8. Talking about Zombie Carrier, does it rings any bell? Zombies! Which became tier-one not long after DAD Era. It allows simple plays and this card was an enabler for Synchro Spamming. Another deck that came to rise to Tier one was the Blackwings. At first, Blackwings did not have much synergy with Dark Grepher. However, with the release of Vayu, Dark Grepher presence was not to be missed out in a deck having Vayu as the center of the deck. This, of course also applies to the well known VayuSworn which utilizes Lightsworn's Milling ability to lucksack a Vayu to the grave. It was a strong deck to begin with however, with the advent of the banlist, this deck was pretty much left crippled... Another interesting deck that utilizes this card was the Darklords series and Dark World series.
AND! This card was one of the card that made Infernity more consistent. It helps to empty your hand and helps to set-up Infernity combos for FTKs.
A list of decks that utilizes it:
Tele-DAD
DAD Variants
Twilight Lightsworn
VayuSworn
Hopeless Dragon
Skull Servant
Stardust Buster Deck
DarkLords
DarkWorlds
Blackwings
Jinzo Returner
Chaos Godness Variants
D-Hero
Zombies
Sky Scourge
Infernity
In summary, this card was used greatly in many decks to pile up the graveyard with useful Dark Monsters for future plays. Many people was choosing between this card and Armageddon Knight. It really depends on your playstyle. I personally prefer Dark Grepher because it helps a lot with combos. Armageddon on the other hand is slower but it helps to maintain your hand advantage. Moreover, it is special summon-able which speeds up your play to push for wins.
Dark Grepher, a noble man with red eyes, having a black aura coating on him. He was DAD'S best buddy, many decks owe him because he single handedly made many decks stronger. It's usefulness are limitless. It can be a target for Allure, a 1700 beat stick, Dark's Foolish Burial, thins deck, easily affordable in OCG. What can I say about this guy over here? He is just awesome.
Who would have thought this little man with a 1700 card would help out so many decks?
Aura here, hope you guys enjoy my article on Dark Grepher.

Mask of Restrict-->useful?
Hi guys, iosmk here. Well, i'm back with a report on a trap card now. Okay, so i will talk about mask of restrict.
Mask of restrict 生贄封じの仮面 --> Continuous Trap Card
Neither player can tribute any monster under any conditions
Well, this card is really simple. It restricts both players to tribute monsters. If you are an old player, this card was used during the old days since there are a lot of release(tribute) summoning. But, it seems like this card is useless nowadays as no one is using it. Is that true? Is this card totally useless now? I don't think so. For me, this card is still awesome. But what can we do with this card? It's not a one for one concept card right? Okay, let me write for you guys the adv and the disadv of this card.
Advantages =
1. It restricts both players to tribute monsters. Which means, Frognarch = dead.
2. It restricts both players to tribute MONSTERS. So, any kind of tribute/release isn't allowed. For example, stardust dragon, it can't use its effect to negate destruction. I'm sure there are lots of monsters that needs to tribute itself or other monsters as a cost to activate their effects.
Disadvantages =
1. It is a trap card. So can be countered pretty easily.
2. It restricts both players.
3. For ocg, i guess its hard to find now.
So, what do you all think? For me, it is a good card as you can use this card to anti-meta those frognarchs or stardust buster/assault mode and those decks that uses tytannial and lonefire blossom. Isn't it awesome? Well, it depends on each person's standpoints. For me, this card will go into my side deck. Thx for reading, even if it isn't much. Will see you guys back with a monster card. Bye~~

Bye~~

Gold sarcophagus VS different dimension capsule
\Hi guys, iosmk here. Sorry for not posting this review on time as I'm busy with my holidays. Okay, move on to topic. Which one is better? Gold Sarco or DD capsule?
Gold Sarcophagus 封印の黄金櫃 --> Normal spell card
Select and remove from play 1 card in your deck. During your second Standby Phase after this card's activation, add the removed card to your hand
Different Dimension Capsule タイムカプセル --> Normal spell card
After this card is activated, it remains face-up on the field until your 2nd Standby Phase. Select 1 card from your Deck, then shuffle your Deck. Remove it from play and place it face-down. During your 2nd Standby Phase, destroy this card and add the removed card to your hand
Okay, basically, these two cards has same use, which is to search a card from ur deck, remove it and take it back. Of course, when you see these 2 cards effect, all people will say that gold sarcophagus is better. But, who say that DD capsule is bad? Let's compare these two cards by seeing each other's advantages and disadvantages then, starting from gold sarcophagus.
GOLD SARCOPHAGUS...
Good things =
1. After usage, this card is straightly sent to the graveyard
2. Can be used to remove a beatstick monster, and revived it for otk
3. The selected card is removed, so your opponent can't d.d crowed it.
4. It's a foil card. When you don't need that card, you can set it and bluff your opponent.(muahaha)
5. It's shiny and looks cool. XD
Bad things =
1. You remove a card in face-up position. So opponent might know what you are intending to do and chance to be mind crushed or dust shoot-ed
2. It's semi limited
2. You need to wait two turns, whereas you will waste one of your hand-size for your future, so be careful if you are using this card against otk decks
3. It's expensive.
DIFFERENT DIMENSION CAPSULE...
Good things =
1. You remove the card face-down, which means, your opponent can't really predict what will you do and they can't mind crush us easily
2. It's not restricted meaning you can put 3 of these
3. It's common = cheapo
Bad things =
1. It remains on the field until your 2nd standby phase, once it got destroyed, you essentially lost two cards(one from hand and one from deck)
2. It doesn't look nice lol
Well, from these review, of course gold sarcophagus is much better, i do think so too. But when you are considering the price of these 2 cards, its so far away from each other. So, you may consider on putting DD capsule inside your deck if you don't really want to spend money on expensive cards, and you can get almost the same effect as gold sarcophagus. So, why not? And i don't really think people will destroy DD capsule as they feel more relieved when they destroy a face down card that exists on that particular turn. So that's all for today. Will be back and review on a trap card. See you guys. Bye ~
